Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CraftRezume (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate account information.
• You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One person per account. Accounts may not be shared, resold or created automatically.

Your content

You own the resumes and other content you create or upload. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to provide the Service to you - for example to analyse it, send it to our AI provider when you use an AI feature, and render your PDFs. You are responsible for making sure your resume is truthful and that you have the right to use what you upload.

AI features and ATS scores

AI suggestions are drafts. Review and edit them before use - you are responsible for the final content of your resume. ATS scores and reports are guidance based on common screening practices; employers configure their systems differently, so we cannot guarantee that any resume will pass a particular system or lead to an interview or job offer.

Plans, payments and cancellation

• The Free plan is free. Pro is a subscription billed in advance for each billing period until you cancel.
• Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record, which also handles taxes, invoices and receipts. Prices are shown at checkout.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to the Free plan.
• Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
• Plan limits and features may change; we will give reasonable notice of changes that reduce what a paid plan includes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law, infringe others' rights, or upload content that is unlawful, hateful or deceptive;
• create resumes that impersonate someone else or falsify credentials;
• probe, scan or test the Service's security, or interfere with or overload it;
• scrape the Service, access it through automated means other than our interface, or try to get around usage limits;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service, its templates or its scoring.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and limit usage that threatens the Service's stability.

Availability

We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We recommend keeping your own copies of important resumes by downloading them as PDFs.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CraftRezume is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost job opportunities or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. These terms continue to apply to past use where relevant, such as limitations of liability.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any rights you have as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we will update the date above and notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
